OUR PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES

A world of play, creativity and friendship.

At The Centre @ Westmead, we believe children thrive when they have the freedom to explore, imagine and follow their interests.

Our program embraces child-led and spontaneous play, where educators provide opportunities, resources and encouragement while children help shape their own experiences.

WHAT CHILDREN ENJOY

Something for every interest.

Whether building imaginative creations, playing sport with friends, exploring outdoor spaces or simply relaxing after school, children are encouraged to make choices and enjoy their time at The Centre. Experiences evolve with children's interests, ideas and available resources.

Arts & craft

Making, designing and expressing ideas through creative materials.

Sewing & woodwork

Practical, hands-on experiences that encourage problem-solving and skills.

Sports

Movement, active games and teamwork with friends.

Creative play

Imaginative adventures and opportunities to follow children's ideas.

Dance & music

Rhythm, performance and creative expression.

Cooking & gardening

Exploring food, nature and everyday practical experiences.

These are examples, not a fixed timetable. Children's interests help shape what happens each day.

AGE-APPROPRIATE SPACES

A place to belong at every age.

We offer age-appropriate spaces on the grounds of Westmead Public School so younger and older children have room to play, connect and enjoy experiences suited to their interests.
